e-OTM and/or e-NACH is a payment facility akin to a standing instruction given to a bank for honouring payment upon request. This is very useful for setting up SIPs and making lumpsum payments without the hassle of Internet Banking etc. The transaction will only be submitted for further processing post verification through OTP by you.
As of now only Resident Individuals can register for e-OTM through e-NACH. Corporates, NRIs, HUFs, Minors are not allowed.
Please click here to view the list of banks available for online transactions for different payment modes. You can also find the latest list of e-NACH enabled banks on the NPCI website by clicking here.
Navigate to sales support and collateral from the side menu of portal/app.Go to pre-filled forms section and select a EUIN profile. Then look for one time mandate form in the list and share with the Investor.
The minimum e-OTM registration allowed through e-NACH is Rs. 5,000 and maximum is Rs 10,00,000.
Yes, it is highly recommended to first register an e-OTM for a high amount and then register as many SIPs as desired. Each SIP must individually be within the e-OTM limit. E.g. If you create an e-OTM for Rs. 10,000 you can still create as many SIPs as you want, with the same debit date, each for Rs. 10,000 or less, using the same e-OTM
SIP can be registered immediately with first debit as early as 7 days from today. However, the e-OTM will be available for lumpsum transactions only after 2 days from date of registration. So, it is best that you register e-OTM in advance to facilitate lumpsum purchase at later date
